Our final port of call is Gibraltar. The famous rock is very English, although they use their own bank notes. we arrived to mixed weather. The top of the rock was shrouded in cloud, but at ground level there were sunny periods and it felt warm. We didn’t really do that much, spending most of our visit in the shops.I had to phone the bank first though as I hadn’t told them I was away and my card wouldn’t work in the ATM.
Those fellow cruise passengers who did go up the rock itself said the cloud cover ruined the view, although they did see the monkeys.
